"We decided to book a guided tour of Marrakech as we felt walking around alone would not do the great city justice and how right we were! Abdul met us at our Riad in the morning to discuss our requirements for the day and to be honest, we weren’t all that helpful as we wanted to see absolutely everything but at the same time couldn’t be specific, not an easy task. But Abdul was wonderful and you name it, we saw it! I left Marrakech fully satisfied that in the short time we were there, I had seen everything I could in that time. We went to palaces, mausoleums, mosques, museums, of course all around the Medina and souks (my favourite). Also stopping for lunch and coffee at really special places along the way! Seriously, how else will you get to see the really unique things like Tanjia pots cooking in the coals at the local hammam oven or even know when the leather auction is on unless you’re with Abdul? I felt we saw some exceptional things that just aren’t on the “tourist route”. He was very generous with both his time and his information. I didn’t feel uncomfortable asking him any question at all and he was happy to spend as much time with us as we needed. We had many interesting and enjoyable conversations throughout the day. He had a very likeable personality and you felt at ease instantly. Abdul was so fabulous and such a delight to be around, we booked him for another day to help us navigate back to some of those places we wanted to find a second time. I would not hesitate to recommend Abdul to anyone travelling to Marrakech; you will not find better value for money for the fantastic experiences and memories you receive. If we are lucky enough to find ourselves in Morocco again one day, he’ll be the first call I’ll make because I’m sure he’ll have more exciting things to show me!
